“Saving Kristen”

Saving Kristen When Kristen Boone leaves Ashton, Idaho, to attend school at UCLA, she plans to pursue a career in theater and dance. But her plans are derailed when she meets Chad Nieteri, a wealthy, carefree, California boy who is intrigued by Kristen's wholesome Mormon values and begins dating her. What Kristen doesn't know is that Chad is also the leader of a gang of young men who support their extravagant lifestyles by impersonating police officers and stealing from illegal drug manufactures and dealers. When Kristen learns the truth about Chad and his friends, Chad sets out to silence her! Readers discover along with Kristen what true friendship means, and why the only way to find safety and real joy in today's world is to live the gospel.

“Cheyenne in New York”
by   Jack Weyland
Chyenne in New YorkBen Morelli is a brash, up-and-coming New York City ad agency executive. He's just landed a huge account, and his future looks bright. The last thing he needs is to share the spotlight with some hick from Idaho.

Bright, outspokenly moral, and unfailingly honest, Cheyenne is everything Ben thinks he dislikes in a woman. She's also a Mormon, whatever that is. It doesn't help, either, that his most important client thinks Cheyenne is terrific. And so does Ben's family.

A contemporary love story, played out in the aftermath of a horrific national disaster, thist latest Jack Weyland novel reaffirms in an unforgettable way the power of love, faith, and family ties.

Jack has said that "Cheyenne in New York" is one of his best books!

“Eagles Don't Eat Worms”
by   Jack Weyland & Linda Kudlik Eagles Don't Eat Worms

When Jeff Duncan needs some extra cash, his friend Nick comes up with a great idea---steal a dog from a blind woman. run away, then Nick will pretend to chase after Jeff. He'll take the dog back to the woman and claim a reward. Sounds easy enough, but when Jeff tries it, everything goes wrong and he gets arrested. Instead of sending him to jail, the judge decides to make the punishment fit the crime. Jeff has to wear special contact lenses for two months that essentially make him blind. Come join Jeff and find out what it's like to be blind in today's world.

Over fifteen years ago Linda Kudlik was a consultant for Jack Weyland's book "Sara, Whenever I Hear Your Name." In 1990 Linda had a car accident that left her blind. After writing about five chapters of "Eagles Don't Eat Worms," she showed it to Jack. He saw a lot of potential in it, and took it as an opportunity to do something a little different. So a partnership was made. After almost five months of e-mails and phone calls, "Eagles Don't Eat Worms" became a reality. [Order]

NOTE: $3.00 from each book will go to the Utah State School for the Blind, and $1.00 will go to the Utah Council of the Blind.
